I love being a private tutor because I love teaching and seeing the immediate feedback of higher test scores and the smiles that come along with them! I charge for my services because this is my profession, but since I’m also the owner of the business, I have the freedom to reduce or waive my fees when they are a burden or barrier to my students. It’s one more advantage we private tutors have over those big box companies.
